Ashraf Sabry is the Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer- IT line of business at Raya Holding, as well as a member of Raya's board of directors. His relationship with the companies that eventually became Raya began in 1995, when he moved from market specialist at IBM-WTC to the general manager's position at Protech. When Oratech was founded in 1997, Sabry came on board as the managing director. His diligence and dedication helped make Oratech the most successful and prestigious IT consulting firm in the country. When Oratech was integrated into the newly formed Raya Holding, Sabry was given an instrumental role in the new holding company strategic planning, creating Raya's business development, finance and IT departments. Sabry holds a B.Sc. in civil engineering from Cairo University and a MBA in general management from Leeds University in the UK.
An IBM Egypt veteran who also played a role in the development of IBM's new
model development project for the AS/400 in 1991 in the United States,
Al-Koussy's technical background includes extensive experience in IBM's
customer engineering business unit. At Triangle and Raya integration, Al-Koussy
established the high quality customer service business unit, and achieved
ISO9002 certification for CS in 2000.
As Raya Integration’s General Manager-Infrastructure, Hisham Abd El Rassoul is
responsible for designing and providing solutions for all the Infrastructure
projects. He aims at adding value to these projects by focusing on the latest
technologies like IP Telephony, wireless, content switching, storage &
clustering solutions in different segments. Previously Hisham acted as a
network expert for ten years in enterprise business. Upon joining Raya,
Hisham’s main role is to constantly extend Raya Integration’s presence in the
Large Enterprise Networking projects in different sectors e.g. Telecom, Finance
, General Business, Government.
El- Sayed started his career in 1995 when he joined Protech and helped to
position Protech as a pioneer in providing networking solutions in the Egyptian
market. In 1999 with the merge between Triangle and Protech, El-Sayed became
Sales Manager of Raya Integration. As he contributed largely to the company's
revenue growth, he was promoted to become the Finance Business Unit Manager and
then was appointed Raya Integration's General Manager for Operations. In 2004,
El-Sayed was assigned the responsibility of Managing the Project Management
Unit. Currently, Elsayed is Raya IT General Manager for Sales. Mohamed has an
undergraduate degree in Computer Science from the AUC and he holds a Maters of
International Business Administration from ESLSCA University in Paris, France.
Sherine Ahmed El Guindy graduated from the AUC In 1992, major Computer Science and minor Mathematics with a startling GPA of 3.965. A promising young developer, she joined Middle East Application, the pioneering software development company, which later merged with Raya Holding as Mega Software House. In 1994, Sherine moved to Protech, as a systems engineer working on the implementation of document management systems and electronic archiving solutions. With her radiant track record, in 1998 on the merge of Raya Holding companies, Sherine moved to Oratech, the strategic joint venture between Protech and Orascom Technologies, as the sales and marketing manager. Soon after Sherine has acquired her MBA in Oct 2000, Sherine was promoted to General Manager of Oratech. Shereen now acts as the General Manager of Business Solutions at Raya Integration.
El Mallah started his career in Raya in 2001, when he moved
from implementation management at Siemens AG to the services manager position
at Raya Networks Services, given an instrumental role in the new founded
company. Now El Mallah became the General Manager for project management at
Raya Integration. El Mallah holds a B.Sc. in Computer science and automatic
control from Ain Shams University in Cairo, several project management
diplomas, MBA and has first-hand knowledge of the global telecommunication
industry."
